This year's ski trip was filled with great skiing, sunny skies most days, dog sledding, and a 4 year old going on 21. Jim and I headed out early on the morning of the 15th for an enjoyable drive. I so enjoy our long drives. So much of my normal routine is going mach 1 trying to save the environmental cleanup mission that I rarely just sit. Committing to a drive vacation does not save us a dime, but my experience is so much more rewarding stopping along the way to take pictures of rustic buildings or eat at truck stops.
Our days were filled with skiing and dog sledding. Off the hill, unka Jim dazzeled everyone with his cooking. Our nights were filled with watching the Olympics and counting our lucky stars that we did not choose Whistler as our ski destination and playing Farkle. The week went by way too fast and returning to work has been especially draining this week.
I took way too many pictures (per normal). It is my issue and I am darn proud to have it. A few of my unedited photos below. I am looking forward to Saturday to play with Photoshop and enjoy my morning coffee.
